If you are looking for a church or are exploring the Christian faith, we would love you to join us on a Sunday.  To help you get aquainted with Greenhouse, here are a few FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS about what to expect when visiting for the first time.

1.  Where does Greenhouse meet?

Address & Location: 572 Ryders Lane, East Brunswick.  Daniel Chapel, 2nd floor, Vision Center.
When you get here: Upon entering the Vision Center, make a right and proceed down the hall. At the end of the hall, take the stairs up to the 2nd floor. When you walk through the double doors, you'll find our Welcoming Table and be greeted by a friendly volunteer at the hospitality booth. They'll be able to answer any questions, provide you with resources, and before entering the sanctuary, hand you a bulletin for the service.  Once in worship, the presider will guide you through the service with simple instructions.

2.  What should I wear?

Clothes are a good idea. Beyond that, we're not picky. God is far more interested in our hearts than our appearance. So we invite people to wear whatever they are comfortable worshipping in. For some that's a coat and tie; for others it's blue jeans.

3.  What is your worship 'style'?

Contemporary.  We sing hymns in modern arrangements, but our 'style' is more contemporary.  Our worship centers on prayer, singing, and teachings from Scripture.  We celebrate the Lord's Supper the first Sunday of every month.  Our sermons are practical and expository (we dig the Scriptures) and typically preach through books of the Bible, interspersed with topical series.

4. What can I expect before, during, and after service?

  1. A short time of welcoming and hellos
  2. Call to worship
  3. Individual silent prayer
  4. Worship through song
  5. Offering
  6. Intercessory prayer
  7. Sermon
  8. Responsive worship through song
  9. Fellowship

5.  What translation do you use?

We use the NIV (New International Version).

6.  What is the age range at Greenhouse?

As a newer church, many of the congregation are young professionals, graduate students and college students. At the end of the day, we are a cradle to the grave church... so everyone is welcome!

7.  Is there an elevator?

Yes!  When you enter the Vision Center, make a right down the hall.  At the end of the hall, you will walk into a cafe'.  At the far end of the cafe' is an elevator that leads to the 2nd floor.  After you step out of the elevator on the 2nd floor, walk through the gym.  Greenhouse meets on the other side of the gym, on the 2nd floor.

8.  What about children?

We don't mind children even if they're loud; children are a blessing and a part of life!  Please feel free to sit in the back (or anywhere you feel comfortable) and leave/ enter at your convenience.
